Founder: Linda J. Muth
Born in northern New Jersey,
Linda started oil painting at age 11 under the guidance of
a private tutor. Inspired by artists such as Van Gogh and
Monet, Linda uses vivid colors and a variety of painting techniques
including pallette knife in her paintings.
Lighthouses now play a major role as subjects
of the business she co-founded with partner Sandy Clement – The
Maine Lights Collection. Specializing in miniatures of Maine
lighthouses on glass ornaments and small canvases, the artists
of the collection also paint the varied subjects of the Maine
coastal region. The artists teach oil painting classes in the
spring and fall for Camden Hills Adult Ed program.
Creating websites was the natural combination
of 25 years of computer experience and the many years of artistic
creativity. Recent creative avenues include extensive work
with Polymer clay including clay and wire sculptures. We love
a challenge!
